Having a consistent online and offline presence will help sustain your brand across your marketing materials regardless how many channels your business uses. Using a considered logo helps to develop branding to ensure a consistent brand is easily maintained. BASIS held their Annual Conference at the sustainable Principality Stadium in Cardiff in May, with the return of face-to-face events. Our brief set by CEO Russell Seymour, was to design a minimum set of marketing items to be reused for future events. With a set of brand guidelines, sport images and 12 Principles icons at hand we were ready to develop their new brand for print.
We created a set of three different concepts for three pull up banners to reflect the sports BASIS currently support and the 12 Principles icons we originally designed. Spending the time with the client to get the details and layout refined for the final designs is an important part of the process.
The chosen design maintained the forwards motion and direction BASIS want to convey with their image over the next decade. By keeping the print to a minimum these can easily be re-used for future events maintaining their sustainability. Whether they are used as a backdrop to speakers on stage or at an exhibition, keeping the brand at the forefront of people’s mind is essential. These continue with the sustainable theme to eliminate any waste in both time and materials they were printed by a sustainable UK printer Seacourt but without compromising the design.
