In 2021 one of our long-standing clients, JMDA Design, celebrated 30 years in business and trading internationally. One of the founders, Derrick Barker, has followed his vision to develop and innovate ground-breaking product design. Their product designs have won numerous awards globally. Some have resulted in two Red Dot Awards, in 2016 and 2020 and the prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for International Trade in 2019. This Worcestershire business, specialise in designing children’s car safety seats and nursery products, which are now over 100 car seats. We were commissioned to design the timeline (below) to effectively illustrate how products have evolved since 1991.

From 2013-2022, ID Creative Design designed their printed brochures, stationery and promotional print for all marketing. Over this period the brand design developed with the needs and created a consistent brand to connect with clients world-wide.

To mark the milestone JMDA wanted to celebrate the occasion with an image for their marketing to place them as an established business. The final anniversary logo marks each decade with three coloured lights taken using a long exposure to highlight these. This design helps to highlight the occasion which expands on the brand guidelines to maintain a consistent brand which reflect their design service. This image was incorporated into a video we collaborated with Ethical Pixels. The numbers have been animated as the intro of the video, which you can view here.
