Changing rooms – A tailored brand

Changing your business is a big decision
Change is never small, especially in business. When Catherine Howie approached us to craft a bespoke logo for her unique sewing classes, we knew we were helping her reach the next step of her business journey. Catherine is inspired by the elegance of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, providing the foundations for our creative process. The new branding had to reflect her expertise with the seamless blend of classic styles and quality fabrics.
Our approach began with in-depth discussions to understand Catherine’s aspirations. We presented a range of concepts, allowing her to actively participate in shaping her brand’s visual identity. This collaborative process ensured the final logo perfectly captured her essence.
With the logo chosen from our concepts, the brand guidelines were designed next for Catherine and suppliers to follow. We also designed some stylish illustrations to use on the marketing. Once launched, the new style was well received with lots of positive feedback. Crucially, we ensured the logo was scalable, so it can be adapted to marketing materials, from small business cards to large signage. This versatility is essential for a growing business. To secure a strong personal brand, it helps to get recognised and demonstrates the power of a well-executed visual transformation.
“I’m really delighted with the rebrand and that iD so accurately nailed the brief. I’ve had some really positive feedback from clients who also love the graphics.”

We always ensure that client expectations are met and it was great to hear that Catherine is delighted as it’s exactly as she had envisioned! At iD Creative Design, we believe design is more than just aesthetics; it’s about capturing the ethos of a business and communicating its value. We’re proud to have helped Catherine achieve her vision to set her apart from the competition.
