Personalised print

New Generation Social Work set up by Ash addressed the chronic stress and burnout prevalent in the social work profession. His goal was to move beyond digital resources and provide a physical toolkit designed to help professionals manage the heavy demands of daily reports, meetings, and scheduling.

Despite Ash’s deep expertise in social care, he lacked experience in the technical requirements of design and print processes. With my background in the print industry, I stepped in to lead the project, translating his vision into a viable commercial product. I managed the complexity of the project by working backwards from the delivery requirements to map out the technical processes for each item to ensure a seamless production flow. I guided the client through the specific personalised print language and the high-quality production methods necessary to start off his professional diary range.

Bespoke design and development

The project required a completely blank-canvas approach, as no existing product met the specific organisational needs of social workers. Presenting three cover concepts, two covers were developed for the inside pages. These used colour coding and professional typography to inspire the end-user. My role involved designing layouts to develop a new internal structure for the specialised organisational stationery from client ideas.

The final result was a professional toolkit that successfully bridged the gap between the clients experience knowledge and my high-end print production.
