Hands on approach
As a long standing client Hands on at Work decided to have an overhaul and update their branding and design for their new website. As the onsite massage business has grown to a national level providing an important service to refresh relax and re-energise staff. We listened to the clients ideas to form the brief, which was to make their brand look unique in their market place and reflect the importance of staff well being. Some businesses use the same generic images which have become commonplace and cannot reflect the personality of the business. We captured the essence of Hands on at Work with a new brand which is fun, engaging and colourful to reflect the ethos of the business. Reducing stress is the purpose of the business to gain the attention of HR managers to be aware of the solutions to improve their staff health and wellbeing, engagement and motivation.
The final design we created was these visuals we combined strong images of people with fun illustrations to help convey the essence of Hands on at Work. Choosing bright positive colours as backgrounds and a handwritten font helps to give a less corporate feel to the branding. The logo we designed in 2011 remains unchanged as its such a strong identity with the business that has been used on business cards, leaflets, social media profiles and on the familiar T-shirts that are worn by the staff at events. Having a strong, consistent brand we believe helps to reinforce a businesses image without it dating.
Working on this project allowed us to use our creativity and variety of design skills in manipulating images and creating quirky concepts to reflect the business ethos led by Kathy.
